NLBT Future Stars Summer Camp

This program is designed for players who enjoy playing baseball, regardless of experience or skill level. Our staff teaches basic fundamentals that are important for players of all ages and abilities. 

A typical day at camp consists of:

  • A baserunning session to kick off the day. Each day we will focus on a different aspect of this very important, often-overlooked fundamental.
  • Instructional stations in hitting, fielding, and throwing/pitching. Each of these three stations will feature a "Skill of the Day" selected by our staff to improve each camper's confidence on the baseball field.
  • A competitive game between teams of campers. These fun-oriented games will allow campers to
    • Put their newly-developed skills into action
    • Improve their understanding of baseball rules and strategies
    • Learn how to win and lose gracefully and exhibit good sportsmanship at all times

The week will culminate in the NLBT World Series, a fun and exciting conclusion to the camp experience.

Items campers are required to bring:

  • Baseball glove
  • Baseball hat
  • Tennis Shoes
  • Comfortable workout cloths

 

Items campers are encouraged to bring:

  • Baseball bat
  • Batting helmet

 

Please label all equipment with the participant's name.

Grades 5 & 6 Future Stars Summer Camp (2012-2013 School Year)

June 18th - June 21st

Where: Hamline University (Walker Fieldhouse)
Cost: $85 per camper
When: Sessions will be held Monday - Thursday, 9:00AM - 12:00PM

 

CHECK-IN @ Walker Fieldhouse
Check in will begin at 8:30AM on Monday.
